What is FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science & Technology)?
FIRST is an organization that strives to spread the wonders of STEM throughout the world and inspire the young generation to join this supportive community. Their ultimate objective is to expose more youth to STEM, so they can participate in these continuously advancing fields and form leadership, creativity, technological, and engineering expertise to assist them in any future profession and to thrive in their respective environment. FIRST consists of 3 main robotics programs: First Lego League (FLL), First Tech Challenge (FTC), and First Robotics Challenge (FRC). More information can be found at firstinspires.org
